In the heart of Vardar wine region, that is in Negotino, on the sunny side of Lepovo Hill, Fonko grows the grapes.

The Lepovo Hill in the past centuries, and also nowadays is the most wanted grapes growing area within the main wine region of Macedonia,Tikves. The vineyards on Lepovo Hill, with its mild hillsides and maximum sunny days, have been the pride of the powerful wine- growers since the beginning of the vineyards in these regions. Presently, Fonko is also proud of its vineyards on Lepovo Hill.

The favorable climate conditions and the high quality vine grape plantations, combined with rigorous control and application of the highest international norms, resulted in wines that may be freely compared with the world best wine producers, i.e. in wines which we are proud of.

Our winery FVino-Negotino, is situated on the top of Lepovo Hill, overwiewing our vineyards, making our wines estate produced and bottled. Capacity of 250.000 liters of premium quality wines per year is the right quanantity that our wine masters can give the adequate care to reach its heights.

Top results of our winery are a combination of the great winemaking tradition, with all its specifics and secrets, and the knowledge of the contemporary wine production. Same approach is used for our winery equipment: traditional winemaking method using special crushers; horizontal fermentations; special cooling system for controlled fermentation, wine maintaince and stabilization; sophisticated filtration system and high quality inbox tanks. All that combined with careful selection of the grapes, many nights without sleep by the tanks, hard work, passion and great trust in what we work.

The strict quality control, as well as the quality of the packing, specially designed and fabricated for this purpose, enabled us to penetrate to the pickiest world markets, where the quality is the only way to get in.
